EduPro - Technical details in brief!

EduPro is a web-based application which is split into 2 mains parts.

The EduPro Core Modules

• Java J2SE Tomcat 5.5 Application Server
• Apache Web Server mod_jk for HTTPS deployments
• Linux or Windows Server Operating system (Linux recommended)
• HTML, JavaScript, JSP and AJAX front end
• MySQL 4.1 Database for Windows Server or Linux (Linux recommended)
• Printing client application  C# Microsoft .NET application supports J2RE 1.4.1 or above
• Swipe Card attendance polling software for Windows Server 2000 and Windows Server 2003
• Database can be Firewalled off from the Application Server if required
• Supports Internet Explorer 5.5 or above
