GP Soft and our product are founded on the open source community and products we use in our daily operations are Enterprise class open source projects such as Apache Tomcat, MySQL, PHP, and Java by Sun Microsystems.

Everything we do is based on the following concepts.

• Scalability - can the system be small one day but grow with the company no matter how fast the company grows
• Reliable - Is the technology we use mature and will it stand up to Enterprise reliability investigations
• Dynamic - Can the solution adapt and is there a knowledge-base and user base to support the project

So does that mean GP Soft is a purely open-source company? 

GP Soft are firmly in a number of camps, but these are not always Open Source. For complex high volume and heavy transactional systems we believe Java is the best option. For smaller more lightwieght applications we prefer PHP. However when advising a customer on desktop software and network management (Active Directory and Domain control) we are firmly in the Microsoft camp, hence we are Microsoft Certified Education Resellers.
