Trend Micro is the number one Antiviirus vendor for the Gateway and are making massive inroads into the UK market. Trend Micro's strength lies in it's award winning and unique InterScan VirusWall Gateway AV, and it's excellent Trend Control Manager TCM. There are several products in the Trend Micro range and Trend offers them in a number of different packages to suit the customer.

InterScan VirusWall

InterScan VirusWall is the only Gateway AV tool to combine protection from SMTP, FTP and HTTP traffic. InterScan VirusWall can sit on any platform including most Unix derivatives, NT, Linux and Windows 2000.

ScanMail for Exchange and Lotus Notes

ScanMail for Exchange and Lotus Notes on the Groupware platform and scans all Internal and External Mail.

OfficeScan

OfficeScan is Trend Micro's Desktop Anti Virus product and is managed by a Server based management program which automatically updates all virus pattern files to the OfficeScan Clients. OfficeScan can be deployed to multiple Desktops from the Server based Management Console.

ServerProtect

ServerProtect is Trend Micro's dedicated Server based AV tool for Web, File, Citrix and Terminal Servers.

TCM - Trend Control Manager

Trend Control Manager is a Server Based Management Console that can automatically deploy and Manage all Trend Micro clients. Pattern files can be deployed to all Trend Micro products including ScanMail, OfficeScan, InterScan VirusWall and ServerProtect. The system can also give technical and management reports on Virus activity across the Network. TCM is generally viewed as the best AV management tool on the market.
